London Market Awards: "Reinsurance Company of the Year"
On 30 June Hannover Re received the Reactions 2011 London Market Award "Reinsurance Company of the Year". The prestigious international trade journal "Reactions" thereby recognised the achievements of Hannover Re as a company that operates successfully through the London Market in the wider international arena.
Due to the London Market's unique positioning – the dominant role played by reinsurance brokers and Lloyd's as well as its function as a hub for specialty risks worldwide –, Hannover Re has established its own dedicated team to handle the reinsurance requirements of the London Market.
Global Awards: "Best Global Reinsurance Company for Specialty Lines "
On 27 September Hannover Re received the Reactions 2011 Global Award "Best Global Reinsurance Company for Specialty Lines". Hannover Re has received this award for the third time in succession.
