Interns

Are you an assertive, sharp, "hands-on" type of person? If so, we look forward to receiving your application. We take on around 20 interns each year. Internships last normally for three months. Since our company operates with a lean personnel structure, we expect a certain level of self-reliance and flexibility.

Your profile

  • Studying for a university degree, preferably in economics, information science, mathematics or commercial law. When you start your internship, you will have already completed your basic studies with considerable success. In reinsurance business we seldom require human resources managers, marketing experts, industrial engineers or bilingual secretaries
  • Very good comprehension of English (native speakers welcome) and even knowledge of a second foreign language
  • You have good analytical faculties and enjoy working with figures
  • SAP/R3 skills are in great demand in the controlling and accounting sectors
  • Insurance background
  • If possible, you should have specialist experience and a liking for the financial services industry
  • Age up to 30, depending on experience
 

The internship

An internship can last between 9 weeks and 6 months. It may be included as an optional training post as part of a law degree.

You will get to know one division of the company e.g. a marketing division, Accounting, Software Development etc. Here you will actively participate in day-to-day business and familiarise yourself with an area of work.

The availability of internships abroad is strictly limited.
We are unable to offer accommodation, but will help you to find an apartment. The date of entry is flexible.
