The German business of the Hannover Re Group is handled by E+S Rück. In addition to Germany, this division has specialized in the markets of Austria, Switzerland and Italy, where it assists companies with their reinsurance needs.

Our business
We reinsure non-life business, i.e. property and casualty lines, for insurers and brokers. Around 30 staff are dedicated to serving our markets.
Our analysis department additionally offers actuarial forecasts, business analyses and pricing models as technical underwriting support. In this way we are able to provide our clients with a complete range of services.
In so-called "captives business" we support large industrial enterprises in the establishment of their own insurance companies ("captives"). The companies delegate market analyses or controlling tasks to us, or in some cases we develop pricing and product models. These consulting services call for comprehensive expertise in the areas of finance, insurance and reinsurance.
