Corporate Development
The task of Corporate Development is to perform an advisory role as well as to support the Hannover Re Group with respect to internal development and interdepartmental projects.
We serve our internal clients throughout the world, providing assistance in both German and English.
Focused on process optimisation
Our staff of around 16 work in project teams and are organised according to the tasks that they perform. Our fields of activity:
- In-house Consulting
Our mission is to develop the organisation and business workflows. We analyse operating processes and draw up optimised scenarios which are implemented in cooperation with project teams. In this way, we support change processes and contribute to new projects.
- Project Management
A further area of our work lies in the management of the project portfolio, central coordination of interdepartmental projects and the leadership of individual projects.
Internationally active
You are flexible in tackling new tasks and good at communicating the fruits of your work. You can handle the tasks assigned to you constructively and independently within a team. As a project manager, you will assume leadership for the specialist aspects of a project and take responsibility for the budget.
The work in our department involves contacts with all Group locations worldwide. You will therefore need a good knowledge of English, skills that you will regularly use on business trips.
Am I a suitable candidate for Corporate Development ?
Do you have the following profile?
- University graduate in business administration or business computer science
- Professional experience in the area of Corporate Development
- Creativity, flexibility and the ability to work under stress
- Good written and spoken English
- Close familiarity with Microsoft-Office products and business process modelling tools, e.g. ARIS
