Group Controlling Services
Group Controlling Services is an internal service provider for Hannover Re. In its professional advisory role, this Central Division supports Management on a Group-wide basis in the strategic and operational controlling of the business units.
Planning, steering and controlling
We are responsible for the Controlling of the Hannover Re Group. We offer the larger subsidiaries advice on their activities.
With a staff of around 25 our Central Division fulfils a company-wide function and is frequently integrated into project work. We provide Group-wide support for the strategic and operational planning / controlling of results, resources and risks and make available appropriate, value-oriented tools for this purpose.

As a controller you will analyse information, compile reports and profitability analyses and develop controlling tools. You will devote your energies to reviewing targets and levels of goal accomplishment and, as an expert partner, you will advise internal clients on business issues.
As an auditor you will review working processes and assume auditing tasks at your own responsibility including on-the-spot assignments at offices abroad. You will demonstrate efficient concepts and problem-solving approaches geared to enhancing corporate performance.

Do you have a prudent, strategic mind and team spirit? If so, you should take a closer look at our requirements profile:
- University graduate in economics with concentrations in controlling and financial management
- Keen analytical skills and a good grasp of figures
- Knowledge of accounting and reporting
- Very good written and spoken English
- Communication and team skills
- Initial professional experience in the insurance / banking sector
