Division Marine, Aviation, UK/Ireland
Our Division Marine, Aviation, UK/Ireland is responsible for writing our worldwide business in aviation, space and marine lines. In addition, reinsurance business for the UK and Irish market is integrated into this organisational unit.
What is needed here, above all, is a feeling for other cultures, a penchant for the specialty risks that we reinsure in this segment and flexibility in dealing with day-to-day business. Very good foreign language skills are the key to really gaining our clients' trust.
Our international business
With around 20 colleagues at Home Office Hannover we handle aviation and space reinsurance as well as marine reinsurance in all relevant countries worldwide. "Marine and Aviation" business is served centrally from Hannover and Stockholm. In addition, we are responsible for reinsurance on the UK and Irish market - an ideal sphere of activity for those with a special inclination towards these countries.
A typical day at the office
In our division you will work in teams composed for the most part of economists and insurance professionals. Depending on your skills you will be assigned the responsibility of underwriting, marketing, analyses and back office organisation.
