If you would like to apply for a position with Hannover Reinsurance Group Africa, please send your complete application documents by e-mail to HRGSA-personnel@hannover-re.com. Attachments should be provided in Word or PDF format.

In addition to an up-to-date résumé, your application should include copies of your certificates and references as well as an informative cover letter setting out your training and professional experience. You should also indicate your motivations for applying (as appropriate, for a particular position). We also welcome speculative applications. Your data is stored for six months in case a suitable position becomes available. Please let us know if you would like to withdraw your application during the intervening period.

We shall acknowledge receipt of your application by e-mail. We will normally send you an invitation to interview no later than two weeks after the application deadline has passed. If you still have not received any feedback from us after one month, you can assume that your application has not been successful. For shortlisting purposes we conduct initial interviews over the phone. Further interviews will be conducted face-to-face in Germany, to be followed as appropriate by final interviews in South Africa. Your travel expenses to South Africa will be reimbursed in full. We shall notify you by e-mail if your interview with us does not prove successful. If you would like to know the reasons for our decision, you can write to us at HRGSA-personnel@hannover-re.com.
