Corporate Communications

Corporate Communications is the mouthpiece of the company. We look after all communication at Hannover Re – worldwide, internally and externally. We make sure the employees receive important information and communicate with partners and financial markets. We have about 20 people in our team. They work closely with the board and are networked with worldwide subsidiaries. We strengthen our company with professional communication with the world beyond the boundaries of the company and internally.

What do we do exactly?

Our work consists of traditional PR work and investor relations, as well as internal communication and lobbying. We often have contact with colleagues from our subsidiaries, as well as with investors, journalists and customers. We organise interviews with the press and we write press releases, we organise the Annual General Meeting, investors’ roadshows and committee meetings concerning regulatory affairs worldwide. Furthermore, we support Hannover Re in marketing and corporate identity issues. We prepare annual reports, we create company presentations and image advertisements and are responsible for the corporate website and group intranet and help to achieve a uniform, strong visual identity across the diverse range of communication media.

What are our competencies?

Most of the employees in Corporate Communications have the following qualifications:

  • Work experience in public relations, investor relations or marketing
  • Distinct communication and coordinating skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
