You study economics, law or (business-) mathematics and cannot wait to apply your acquired knowledge in practise? If you do your degree within the next 12 months or your degree dates back no longer than one year, you may apply for one of our three trainee programmes:

Trainees get a permanent contract, for we select them carefully and invest a lot in their training. That means: best perspectives for you!

Course of the trainee programme

The knowledge that you acquire during the 3-4 months stages will be supported by selected trainings, workshops and projects on your own responsibility. Experienced colleagues will coach you, you will get to know various units and spend up to 3 months abroad in one of our international locations. In the second part of the 12-18 months programme we will jointly develop your individual perspectives for your career at Hannover Re.

Application process

You choose an entry date for the trainee programme that suits you best. Please provide your application approx. 4-6 months in advance. If the requirements are fulfilled, we will invite you to a multi-level selection process with assessment centre elements. You will have the opportunity to get to know the staff from the Human Resources and the special departments – and Hannover Re of course.
