Underwriter France

Our underwriting team for France is looking to fill the vacancy of Underwriter in their Treaty Department. This is a permanent, full time position which is vacant immediately.

Duties:

  • Analyse the French reinsurance market per line of business and cedent
  • Analyse reinsurance submissions; be involved in pricing
  • Carry out the treaty administration
  • Assist in compiling the yearly market report
  • Assist in developing new reinsurance concepts
  • Provide customer support (by phone, via email etc.) / make visits to cedants (after corresponding initial training)

Specifications:

  • University degree in Economics or Mathematics or other relevant course of study
  • Very good French language skills and at least good English language skills
  • A good command of the German language would be a plus
  • (Very) Good knowledge of Microsoft-Office products
  • Analytical capabilities and a very good grasp of numbers
  • Ability to work in a team environment
