Germany's best employers 2004 ... and we are one of them
Hannover Re is one of the most popular employers in Germany. This is the finding of a Germany-wide survey in which Hannover Re achieved a final grade of 2. As part of the survey "Germany's Best Employers in 2004", questionnaires were distributed to employees of over 100 companies. The study was conducted by the Cologne research and consulting institute Psychonomics AG in cooperation with Capital magazine in the role of media partner.
The assessment was based in part on employee interviews in which quality criteria such as reliability, respect, fairness, pride in one's work and company as well as team orientation were surveyed. The results of these anonymous employee interviews accounted for two-thirds of the overall result. The remaining one-third was allocated to a so-called "culture audit". This covered the programmes, concepts and measures that make up human resources activities.
