Hannover Re wins "Capital Investor Relations Award"

Hannover Re has been named winner of the "Capital Investor Relations Award" for companies listed on the MDax by the business magazine "Capital". Overall, Hannover Re came third out of a total of 237 companies investigated, performing better than every Euro STOXX 50 and Dax-listed company.

The business magazine "Capital" has awarded annually a prize for best investor relations work for each stock market segment for the past four years. This year the winners were determined for the first time in co-operation with the DVFA (German Association for Financial Analysis and Asset Management). The DVFA surveyed 1,500 capital market experts financial analysts from banks, investment companies and insurers to assess their opinions on the standards of communication each of the companies investigated have with the capital markets. These standards were assessed according to the up-to-date nature, credibility and quality of the company information. Hannover Re attained 456 points out of a maximum possible total of 500 points. This prize is recognition for Hannover Re's entire communication with the capital markets, ensuring the motto of the award - "listen actively, inform openly and keep in mind the mood of the shareholders" - will continue to dictate the comprehensive investor relations programme.

In a separate move, the magazine "Aktienresearch" named Hannover Re as the second favourite German stock of all the DAX 100 share titles. According to the study, 83% of all analyses evaluated by the financial agency Bloomberg have the Hannover Re shares on their "buy" list.
