Hannover Re welcomes a new member to its Executive Board

Hannover, 17 December 1998:

With effect from January 1, 1999, Dr. Detlef Steiner (52) will assume responsibility as a member of the Executive Board at Hannover Re for the North American market, for world-wide facultative reinsurance and claims.

Dr. Steiner has worked for various European insurance and reinsurance companies. Until 1998 he was a member of the Corporate Executive Board of the Zurich Insurance Group.
