Diversification: Five-pillar model

  • The life reinsurance business group stands on five robust pillars: financial solutions, new markets (senior citizens' market, Retakaful), bancassurance, multinationals and highly selective conventional reinsurance.
  • Growth drivers are our expansion in emerging markets, senior citizen products in developed markets and the US protection market as well as the expansion of our local presence in Asian growth markets.

Quantitative targets

  • Double-digit growth in value of new business (VNB) and Market Consistent Embedded Value (MCEV).
  • EBIT margin of at least 6% relative to net premium earned.
