The nursery school teachers of the Kita Hannover ReKids look after the children so that our employees can work in peace. The nursery is on our premises. Up to 30 children aged between one and three can play and learn there. The nursery is sponsored by the town and Hannover Re. We can therefore keep the parental contributions low. Children can attend nursery all year round, allowing their parents flexibility when returning to work.
Virtual childcare? Not only at Corona times an offer that our employees like to take advantage of for their children or grandchildren. In cooperation with voiio, we offer more than 30 virtual events per week, which deal with various topics such as "creative upcycling", "journalism" or "programming" and are suitable for children from 4 to 16 years. An age-appropriate care is achieved through different and targeted course formats, customized workshops and learning with a high educational standard as well as social interaction.
Furthermore, we cooperate with Talingo EAP, a service provider which advises companies and workers on issues regarding work-life balance. Their service includes the search for a child minder or a place in the kindergarten. The family service also supports you in caring for elderly relatives by finding staff with the appropriate qualifications.
