In the Information Technology department we are responsible for the running of a highly integrated system for reinsurance business. This consists of, among other things, the core systems for business administration and business intelligence solutions for business analysis. Furthermore, intelligent communication and collaboration systems contribute to the support of global cooperation.

As an internal professional IT service provider for the Hannover Re Group, we deliver our services worldwide from our base in Hannover. We do so locally in cooperation with our international IT units and a range of external service providers. IT in Hannover has about 180 employees, worldwide about 240.

Whether it is software development, the running of our worldwide IT infrastructure or user support, line tasks or projects: our IT employees with wide-ranging training and key areas make good use of their specialist knowledge.
