If you expect to complete your degree within the next 12 months or if you graduated no more than a year ago, you are invited to apply for one of our three graduate trainee programmes:

Graduate trainees receive a permanent contract because we select them carefully and invest a lot in their training. What this means for you is the best possible prospects!

Organisation of the graduate trainee programmes

The knowledge that you gain during the 3 to 4 months training blocks will be supported by selected training activities, workshops and projects conducted at your own responsibility. You will receive coaching from experienced colleagues and get to know various units, including spending up to 3 months abroad at one of our international locations. In the second part of the altogether 12 to 18 month programme we will work with you to jointly develop your individual perspectives for your career at Hannover Re.

Application process

You choose an entry date for the graduate trainee programme that suits you best. Please submit your application approx. 4 to 6 months in advance. If you meet the requirements, we will invite you to a multi-level selection process that includes assessment centre components. You will have the opportunity to get to know the staff in Human Resources and the various departments and of course Hannover Re as a company itself.

Graduate trainee opportunities are advertised on our job portal. You are also welcome to send a speculative application. In either case, please submit your application via our applicants’ portal.
