We are in regular direct contact with our clients and our other specialist departments around the world. However, our team mainly works at the Hannover office. What competencies do we need?

Our work is as diverse as the people who make up our team. You can come from a variety of backgrounds, including a solid commercial education, a degree in economics, or practical experience in asset management, trade finance or banking. Of course, an excellent grasp of figures and a high level of attention to detail and service orientation are also good prerequisites. Reinsurance experience would be nice but not essential.

We value these skills:

  • Familiarity with (inter)national accounting standards such as IFRS, HGB and the preparation of quarterly, annual and consolidated financial statements
  • Extensive knowledge of Solvency II
  • Knowledge of valuing collateral from retrocessionaires, brokers and cedants
  • Experience in effectively coordinating cross-border rating processes
  • Experience in the processing and administration of collateral options (letters of credit)
  • Knowledge of providing solution-oriented advice to banking/financial clients
  • Practical experience in tax reporting, tax compliance or transfer pricing
  • Experience in transaction support, business valuation or investment management
