Congratulations, you've got the job! To make your start with us as successful as possible, we have various modules that will familiarise you optimally with our #ConnectingPower culture and everything to do with the reinsurance business. Let's go. The following onboarding modules apply to the Hannover office. Onboarding at our international locations may differ from this.

Onboarding event

On your first day, you'll enjoy a special onboarding event where you can get to know your team and fellow new colleagues. We'll guide you through access with your employee card, show you how to log your working hours, and explain the process for requesting leave—ensuring you're set up for success from day one!

Your onboarding buddy

On your first day, your onboarding buddy from the department will be there to welcome you. Together, you will take a relaxed tour of everything – from your workspace and the most important tools to your first tasks. You will get to know your team, gain an overview of the processes, and find out who you can contact if you have any questions

Your orientation plan

We have prepared for your start with us. Your team has already drawn up a structured orientation plan. It will help you get off to a good start in the first few weeks and will provide you with a reliable guide.

Your 100-day review

After three months, you will meet with your manager and the HR team for the so-called 100-day review. The focus is on honest feedback: What has gone well, and what could have gone better – from your perspective and ours. This way, we can easily identify areas for improvement.

Your introduction to reinsurance

Reinsurance isn't something you usually learn about at university, which is why we take the time to familiarise you with the subject. We offer intensive, international induction programmes called ReEssentials to give you the best possible start. These courses provide you with a wide range of business insights, from the basics of reinsurance and the specifics of underwriting to the ins and outs of technical accounting. This will prepare you well for your respective role. Fostering our We-Spirit is a matter close to our hearts. We learn together and laugh together, and you'll enjoy our friendly atmosphere. Our ReEssentials also give you plenty of space to network, meet new people and exchange ideas.
