Working as a commercial assistant

As a business graduate, you will support our teams in the processing of receivables and payables from domestic and foreign business partners. Your tasks may also include the independent clarification of open items or the preparation of annual and quarterly financial statements in accordance with current HGB/IFRS accounting standards. Our work has an international flavour. A good command of English is a prerequisite. Further foreign language skills are welcome. You don't have to be a reinsurance professional; we understand that this is a very specific industry. What is important to us is that you are motivated and willing to learn, have a sense of team spirit and are prepared to share and develop your commercial expertise.

Where you can work with us

Commercial assistants like you support us mainly in financial management or underwriting. Depending on the requirements, you will liaise with primary insurers, brokers, other reinsurers and other partners in Germany and abroad. You will process incoming invoices, check claims and be responsible for bookkeeping and payment transactions.
