We are the contact for primary insurers in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Italy. Furthermore, we are responsible for all non-life primary insurers of the Talanx Group, and we advise industrial companies when they have their own insurance company – a so-called Captive – or if they want to found one.
Business in Germany is carried out by E+S Rück, a subsidiary of Hannover Re.
What do we do exactly?
With our team of almost 40 employees, we take care of all relevant underwriting tasks. But that is not all – we look after customers, check reinsurance offers, carry out negotiations and prepare contracts. Being close to our clients is very important to us. With client events, specialist "round tables" and other formats, we not only arouse interest in the services of the Hannover Re Group but also share knowledge and thus contribute to the development of the industry. In addition, our analysis department offers actuarial forecasts, business evaluations and medical risk assessments that are incorporated into product and service developments. We operate an extranet for our German customers, giving them access to relevant statistics, contract documents, publications and other helpful information.
