Hannover Re received requests for confirmation of coverage for insurance policies in the context of an alleged business relationship with the Turkish company Nurer Sigorta.
Hannover Re does not have any business connection with Nurer Sigorta. Several documents submitted to us for confirmation such as insurance policies or authorization certificates or powers of attorney in the name of Hannover Re were forged and are probably used in a fraudulent manner. Law enforcement authorities in Germany and Türkiye have been informed.
