Our department is one of the world leaders in the reinsurance of credit risks. The underlying cover concepts offer protection in the event that debtors cannot meet their contractual obligations in connection with trade and investment transactions due to of insolvency or political factors.
With a team of 18 employees we serve business customers in more than 50 countries.
What do we do exactly?
As underwriters we are each responsible for a certain geographical area and look after the corresponding customers: we analyse the rating of companies and countries, calculate offers, conduct negotiations, and carry out administrative tasks. We also look after existing customers and acquire new customers. This work includes visiting the customers.
What are our competencies?
We are successful because most of the employees have the following qualifications:
- Economic degree, mostly majoring in finances
- Interest in political, economic and legal issues of the countries you look after
- Strong analytical thinking skills and particularly good head for numbers
- Strong customer focus
- A particular talent for foreign languages
